Remembering Summer

Remembering Summer Poems by Room 3

On winters days...
My feet remember the sand tickling my toes.
My legs remember getting wet in the blue water.
My body remembers lying on my towel getting a tan.
My arms remember making sand caslte.
My hands remember digging for sea shells.
My face remembers lying under the umbrella.
My mind remembers walks in the fuzzy green grass.

Remembering Summer

On cold winter days...
My feet remember the sand tickling my feet.
My legs remember when I paddled in the water.
My body remembers sunbathing in the sun.
My arms backstroking in the water.
My hands remember splashing water at my family.
My face remembers putting sunglasses on.
My mind remembers summer is going to be nice and warm when it comes back.

Remembering Summer

On cold winter days...
My feet remember feeling the warmth of the golden sand.
My legs remember when I run to the cold blue water.
My body remembers floating in the depth of the water.
My arms remember stretching out on the sparkling sand.
My hands remember digging in the sand when low tide rushes away.
My mind remembers when summer brings warmth down on me.

Remembering Summer

On cold winter days...
My feet remember running playing tag around my parents.
My legs remember splashing my mum with nice cold water.
My body remembers floating in the foamy cold water.
My arms remember picking up soft smooth shiny shells.
My hands remember  digging a dark hole underneath my parents hammock.
My face remembers splashing water in slow motion.
My mind remembers that winter will not take as long as summer.
